Default Email app

Love the phone! But... I heavily use mark as unread to manage my email. Is there a way to close an email AND mark it unread at once? It's a hassle to have to do this in two steps. All other phone email apps I've used have an option for this.

Not sure how your marking as unread but you can long-press an email, a pop-up will appear and mark as unread will be at the bottom.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Jay. Yes I've seen that. I'm actually wanting to mark unread from within the email message. Sadly I process way too many emails and exiting each message and then long pressing to mark unread is really cumbersome. Almost all email apps have an option when inside an email to mark unread as you close it.

No unfortunately you can't, the only other thing you could do is star them. Depends on whether you'll review them on your phone or PC?

You could try a 3rd party email client from the Android market, I highly recommend K-9.

Great news! Samsung listened and credit to them. I just downloaded the new 4.0.3 software and all my comments above are addressed in the bundled email app, with batch edit also included. It's up there with the best email apps now. I'm a happy camper now...
