Default Compress and email pictures using gmail

Is there a plugin or app that allows you to select pictures on your phone and compress and email them using gmail? Similar to the option using microsoft outlook on windows. Sending 3mb pictures via 3G is not desirable.

I like the fact that the compressed photos get deleted after being sent.

i've not long installed PicSay Pro - Photo Editor. It allows me to access an image already on my phone (either taken by phone or downloaded form elsewhere) or download one by Bluetooth and play with it. I can bring the image into the app in 3 resolutions - 'Normal' (427X320), 'High' (640X480) and 'Maximum' (1024X76'.

under 'Menu --> Effects' i can then apply a number of effects like stretch, posterise, paint, Lomo, faux HDR, Tillt-shift, sepia tones etc. But i can also adjust hue, grey scale, B&W, duotone, exposure, contrast, saturation, adjust RGB brightness, sharpen and so much more. Over 50 options in all. No where near PhotoShop quality but more than enough to satisfy.

When i've finished playing i can go to 'Menu --> More --> Transform Picture' and choose amongst other options 'Resize'. This allows me to adjust the size of the image in pixel increments. And finally i can go 'Menu --> Export" and send it off by various Emails including Gmail, Bluetooth, Picasa, Messaging etc.

i seriously love this little bugger! I paid 2.99 Euros (a little over $4.00 US?) for the Pro app version but they have a free version. I haven't a clue what the difference is between free and paid - but i'd gess the resize / export functions would be in both?

here is link to freebie version ...

I'm using PicSay Free and it's a cool little app, but it doesn't do batch (resize multiple images at once).

I downloaded Image Resizer which allows me to resize all images in one folder (folder1) to another folder (folder1_resized). Then I can select mulitple images from My Files->folder1_resized and export them to GMail (or anything else).
