Default HELP! - force close messages - usb problem - photos & messages disappearing!!

Hi guys, I hope someone can help me.

A few days ago my phone went into a loop of 'force close' error messages, after I'd received a picture via bluetooth (from a phone I've had no problems with before, ie. no viruses etc). It literally wouldn't stop the messages so I switched my phone off.

When I switched it on, my phone had gone back to how it was a week or so ago - photos, messages, calendar events etc. had disappeared, and some things which I'd deleted since then had come back!

The force close messages had stopped, but now I am afraid to turn my phone off in case I lose more photos, etc!

The other thing is that my photo gallery takes ages to load now, and when I tried to upload photos onto my laptop via USB the other day, the photos just disappeared! They were on my phone before I plugged the cable in, then when I looked, they weren't on my phone anymore.

Now I get the occasional force close message but nothing else, but I'm scared to upload photos or switch my phone off in case these things happen again.

Has anyone had this problem? Can you help me?

Please reply if you have any advice!!!

Thanks!!

@Omnian,

I didn't mean to. I had problems posting and it double-posted by accident. I tried deleting one of the posts but couldn't.

Do you have any advice for me with regards to my problem?

Thanks.

I have not heard of this problem before.
Maybe you can let me know, what application you've installed and what have you done (upgrading and/or any type of tweakings) with your device.

What is your Firmware version?
