Default help

yesterday i was using my phone , then all of a sudden it had updated the vlingo app , i guess, and then kept saying mtp connected, but i was at work and nothing plugged into the phone, and then it kept saying driving mode activated , and also at one point it said it was charging but nothing plugged into it, and if i turn it off it automatically restarts, and also it seems to randomly act like it plugged into a dock , cause when i push the home screen, the dock screen comes up, idk what to do , am i the only one with this problem, i wasnt downloading anything yesterday when it happend, just out of no where, please help

Sounds like something could be clashing, maybe some corrupt data so I'd start with wiping the data for the applications mentioned via manage applications.
Failing that the other option would be a Factory data reset, thus will wipe the whole phone including non-synced contacts, SMS messages, applications and updates etc. Back up anything you want to keep first ie SMS, call log etc. You can use an app like App list backup if you have no other way to backup your apps but any data like save data will be lost.

Please be aware this may not fix the problem but it's your best bet and the first thing a service centre will do.
