"Dropped my phone this morning and the screen is black." Having a phone with broken screen can be a very unpleasant experience. However, for Samsung Galaxy S5 users, there is a way that will let you access your data and transfer them to your PC.

This question arises when your phone is broken/damaged/smashed/cracked. A broken phone can cause huge panic for losing precious data. But with Android Data Recovery, you don't have to worry. Android Data Recovery has special advanced functionality to detect your Samsung phone even if it is broken. With the help of this program, you can effortlessly retrieve files such as photos, music, videos, recover deleted contacts from android, text messages, documents from Samsung phones and tablets, like Galaxy S5 and Note 4. Generally, you can recover data from broken Samsung Galaxy phones with broken screen, black screen, touch screen not work, can’t enter system.

Step 1. Run Android Data Recovery on PC or Mac

Step 5. Enter Broken Phone into Download Mode
Once you choose the phone name and model, you will be asked to get your Samsung Android phone into the Download Mode. Just follow the three steps displayed on the window to finish it.

Step 6. Analyze Broken Phone
After entering into download mode, connect your device to PC via a USB cable. The program will download recovery package to your Samsung Galaxy Phone.

Step 7. Recover Files from Broken/Damaged Samsung Galaxy
Upcoming screen shows all files recoverable from the broken phone. Preview them one by one and mark down those you need. Finally, click "Recover" to save all of them on your computer.

Using a third-party Samsung data recovery software to recover Samsung galaxy s5 data . What’s more,it works well with other Samsung Galaxy s4/s6/s7,Samsung Galaxy Note etc.

To Recover Data from Broken or Damaged Samsung Galaxy S5, first we need check if the broken or damaged Samsung Galaxy S5 can be detected by computer. If yes, we can use Samsung mobile manager tool to get access to all data and export them to computer.

Try to restart your Samsung device
This is the simplest or even the only action that you are supposed to undertake to refresh your phone. Please press your Samsung’s Power button for approximately 30 seconds, until your device restarts itself.

If the above coping strategy does not work, maybe you should not do any further operations, just in case of causing more bothers. What you need to do is using third party tool to recover data from broken or damaged Samsung Galaxy S5 before sending it to repair store.

But not all the third party tool can restore lost data from Samsung completely ,
