Default Making the volume louder on the SGS 2

Hi all, I am looking for some help. I feel the volume on my SGS 2 is not load enough when listening to music. I downloaded some free volume apps but they don't seem to help.Compared to my ipod the volume on the SGS2 seems to be only about 50% as loud.
I hate having to carry 2 devises (SSG2 and Ipod} when I want to listen to music. I would appreciate any help. Tank you

I have had the SG S2 for almost a month now and I agree that the speaker sound is not loud enough although its at an ok level. Its just when I am driving I want to just the music on full volume and be content with the sound level despite the motorway/traffic noise. Also I dont want to use blutooth or earphones neither whilst Im driving.

Now I have tried ways to increase volume

1) download google voice app - which I cant coz I am in the UK and google voice app is only applicable in the US

2) install the voice app volume+ - no impact - does not increase volume although you can decrease volume which is not what I want !!!!!!

3) or try the method below

*#*#197328640#*#*
click the following:
[5] AUDIO
[1] NB (VOICE CALL)
Choose Handset, headset, Speaker (which ever you want higher volume)
[1] VOLUME
[1] SRC Speech RX Volume
Change default values and higher the values any number of your choosing, here is an example:
[0]0_lvl : 68
[1]1_lvl : 72
[2]2_lvl : 76
[3]3_lvl : 80
[4]4_lvl : 84
[5]5_lvl : 88 Higher these values to until hear volume improvement.

Can also edit the values from:
[2]DST I2S1 TX Volume
[3]SRC I2S1 RX Volume: 100
[4]DST Speech TX Volume: 94

But when select audio after dialling the number *#*#197328640#*#* I get the following CAUTION !! Menu being blocked

What does this mean???? Please help !!!!!!!!!

no doubt SGS II is a gr8 phone but i think all will agree tht WE HATE THIS PHONE FOR ITS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BATTERY BACKUP AND POOR LOUDSPEAKER/EARPHONE (handsfree) SOUND QUALITY.
for ur problem frnd, i wld suggest u dwnload PLAYERPRO and change sound settings in this music player. keep the PREAMP high. it ll increase the volume but clarity ll reduce for sure.
