Home button issue..
Hey guys.
I'm new to the forum. It looks like there's heaps of info on here! I've got a Galaxy SII which I've had for about a month now. Up until now, when I pressed the home button, the phone would exit out of any app, browser etc i was using and show one of the home screens, and if I pressed it again, it would go to home screen number 1. As far as I know, I haven't changed any settings, but now when I press the home button, another screen comes up with a blue background. It has the time and date, and a few icons at the bottom like alarm, music, gallery, voice search etc. You can exit out of it by pressing the x button at the top of the screen or by pressing back, but its a real pain, as i liked having the home button just take me back to the home screen. I also noticed that if this screen is up, the screen won't go to sleep. I have a feeling it's the dock screen, as when I go into the settings menu, it has 'dock settings' in the list.
Does anyone know what this screen is, and how i can turn it off to get my phone back to normal? Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers

Re: Home button issue..
I'm also having this issue after purchasing and using the samsung desktop dock. if there's any way to get back to the previous behavior where the home button takes me to one of my home screens rather than to the docking screen that would be great.

Re: Home button issue..
I found a fix! Well atleast it worked on my galaxy s2 (sprint)
Go to settings/applications/manage applications/All/ Clock
Apply Force stop & clear data then reboot. That should do it....

Re: Home button issue..
A normal reboot works fine. It seems that the issue returns only when my phone is connected into a 3rd party car charger and in landscape. VERY ANNOYING!!!!!

Re: Home button issue..
hey has anyone found a legitimate fix for this blue home screen problem? I have tried taking the battery out for a few minutes, and i have also tried force stopping the clock application but this has done nothing. The only way to i have had any success is to reset the phone to the its original factory settings. Even after this the problem started again after about 12 hours. This is so frustrating. Any additional information on this topic would be wonderful.
