To transfer data between iPhone and android, iTunes is one way. But it is a little complex.

And I've tried another way:

1. Download some third-party tool.
2. Connect Android and iPhone to computer.
3. Choose the contacts you like.
One quite useful tool is called mobile transfer, which my friend told me to try it.
And I found it helpful when try it.
Here is how to use it to transfer data from iPhone to android.

If you lost data on Sony Xperia, you can use Android Data Recovery to get back the lost data, for example, you can
recover deleted photos from Sony Xperia

connect your sony phone to the program with USB cable
enable usb debugging
Scan your phone for the lost photos
Preview and recover deleted photos

Android data recovery also support other devices such as Samsung, see

This single Coolmuster Mobile Transfer software is enough to transfer files from iPhone to Android, including contacts, messages, videos, photos and many more. More importantly, this software is fully compatible with all devices running Android and iOS systems. So you are free to sync files between two devices, no matter they are running the same or different operating systems.
