"Application is not installed on your phone" Error and no Google Play
I have the Samsung Galaxy S2, Model SGH-I77, and Android version 4.0.4.
about 70-80% of my applications give me the error message that they aren't installed on my phone. They have a little symbol for the app they just aren't opening. I've had this problem before although it was usually only one or two of my apps and it was easily fixed by simply reinstalling them from the Google Play store. However this time several of the stock apps including Google Play either have the icon and give me the message or simply are gone, and when I do a search for them they don't show up. When I looked into my files (using the stock file browsing app) I see the data that goes for the apps that say they aren't installed. I didn't look through to see if it is still there for all of them or only some. I have tried rebooting my phone, taking the battery out and putting it back in, unmounting and remounting my SD card, and then rebooting again. And it still gives me the message. I have a mac and I have never been able to connect my phone to my computer for some reason although I have tried many different methods. The only one that gave me access was one that just let me use the phone through a web browser and didn't give me access to anything I couldn't already do on the phone itself. Also on a possibly related note, my phone occasionally would freeze. I was never when it was turned on it was just when it was locked and it wouldn't respond to me pushing any of the buttons so I would have to take the battery out and put it back in. And then it would be fine again. This happened anywhere from not at all in a day to maybe 5 times in a day. I don't know if that is related but... Trying to give as much information as possible. Thank you so much if you made it this far any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please ask I will try to answer as soon as I can. Again thank you for taking the time to read this!
