I am trying to remove the (root) account on my Galaxy S2 (build Gingerbread.buke5), but I am unable to remove it.
I looked at several posts
both topics seems to make sence but after I acknowlegded that all data will be removed and I agreed to continue, nothing happens.
So I tried resetting it to factory defaults.
> settings => restore factory defaults.
or by pressing the holding the volume up + home button... ect (see link below)
or by dailing *2767*3855#
all kind of installation screens are shown during the first initial start.
But after the factory reset, the account still exsist.
I have read somewhere that this is the 'root' account which is used for appmarket. But can someone help me get rid off this account?
My goal is to link my GS2 to my google account that I use on my desktop too.
