Phone continually restarting

I had this problem before I rooted the phone and now I'm having it again. Seems there's either a problem with the sd card and the phone. When I remove the card, the phone is fine. When I have the card in, its restarting over and over...shortly after it reboots, it restarts itself. Anyone know a solution? Its an 8 GB card with about 4 GB used. The problem has not been a problem for a while until just now when I moved more apps to the card. I could just try another card but is the card the issue or the phone? I'd like to know before I buy. Thanks.

This is a recurrent problem and seems to point to either a corrupt SD card or some corrupt data on the card, I would advise backing up any important data and reformatting the card.

So where do I reformat the card? Phone or PC? I believe I've done this before in the past. Problem fixed. Now back again. Why does this keep happening? Am I better off getting another sd card?

I just use my PC to format. I don't have anymore rebooting issues for now. I'm wondering if it'll happen when I put more apps on the SD. ...

Could be an application causing it but it could be the card itself, no harm in trying another card.

Yes the issues have continued with the card and yes it could be an application. Or I'm finding out now about class 2, 6, 10 SD? Does this have anything to do with it? I have no idea what mine is. I know I got it cheap off eBay a while back not knowing anything about class. Just knew it was 8gb.

When I had this issue before a few months ago, I actually contacted a Samsung rep who had me try the SD card in another phone to see if I would have the issues and of course I didn't have another galaxy to try. It was am lg smartphone. It did not reboot continually back to back.

Back up the important files and format the memory card and also restore the factory settings,Hope it would be fixed.
